en I'm an emotional coach. I get angry. I get happy. I get sad. I get disappointed. I get frustrated. I kind of show that. Not always to the public, but to the team.

en When Coach gets emotional, I get emotional, and I felt that with him. The emotion was all about Coach Douglas ... I know it's a heavy burden, but I'm more than happy to carry that.

en We're disappointed, frustrated and angry. Small business is not a part of the Ontario plan for this budget and there is nothing.

en I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

en They just never fell in. I'm not disappointed but frustrated we didn't have anything to show for it.

en Guys were disappointed and frustrated. It?s the kind of feeling that we don?t want to have during the playoffs, especially when you know you can give a little more and play a little harder and execute a little better. We all what we have to do and we can compete with every team in this division. It?s up to us to come together as a group and make some noise and make a run, which we?re capable of doing.

en We are emotional players, there were a lot of hard words said. We were very disappointed and it's normal that this happens in the locker room, and not because we hate each other; only we were just frustrated with what happened and we knew that we were going to be torn apart by the newspapers and by the people in the coming days.

en Looking at it as a whole, looking at the team coming in at halftime, guys weren't frustrated at all. We kind of got some calls that went against us that (perhaps) shouldn't have been made, but nobody got down or frustrated about it.

en I'm proud of our team. We great leadership from our four seniors - Peter Jerome, Josh Trottier, Alex Olson and Kenny Lybeck. So, I'm a happy coach, even though I'm disappointed with the loss.

en I am happy with the change of coach. It is true that on a point perspective we are a little bit frustrated. But the change of coach was not destined to have short-term effects. We are still in the race for a place in the Champions League.

en I think he is the best field coach ever. He takes his time with each athlete and gets to know each one of us. He works with us at our own pace. He is a demanding coach in his own kind of way and makes you get better. I'm just happy he's my coach.
