What people need to do is conserve what they have, ... There is a supply out there; we just need to conserve it. Going up and loading up your tank is not going to do that much. It's just going to deplete the supply, and the problem will eventually catch up to you.

We certainly need to pump in the meantime, keep low pressure and conserve, but I don't believe there is any imminent threat to having to shut down the water supply. Some unforeseen event would have to occur before there are shutdowns.

The IEA report reminds us that there could be a supply problem in the fourth quarter. Storm damage and the chemical workers strike in France are going to hurt supply. Given the levels we have fallen from, prices are beginning to look like a bargain.

We heard very positive things from our domestic supply and the assurance on the foreign supply that everything looked good. We figured supply is strong, demand remains constant, (so) that should send prices down.

The problem with the economy right now is insufficient demand, not supply. The meat and potatoes of this plan is supply-side medicine for a demand-side problem.
