I was really apprehensive about this game and the key is we took care of the ball in the second half and that's not easy against Maryland. We battened down the hatches and really settled down in the second half.

We forced turnovers, but got nothing from them. And then we couldn't stop them in transition.

We wanted the game to become a half-court game so we could stop them from running. Playing half-court, five on five, that works in our favor.

We have to get our game onto the court and not play into their hands. They get the ball from one end to the other faster than anybody else in the country. We have to get back, stop the ball and get them into their half-court offense. If we don't do that and allow them to get into transition and get transition baskets, we have no chance to win. If we do stop them, that's the key. We have to get the long rebounds which cost us against Houston.

We played zone in the first half, and they scored 17 points on us. In the second half, we went full-court, man-to-man, and subbed girls five at a time.

They've got a chance to throw it in the end zone just before the half, ... Anything can happen. But they got a foul, so they couldn't do it. So they are sitting there and they've got to take a knee before the half. Those things get you.
