en We've been able to build up the character education in all the schools for the last five years. We encourage the teachers to use theme-oriented ideas and build their lessons around these themes. It has become very comfortable with the classroom teachers.

en If you want to fix the schools, pay the teachers better, recruit the best and the brightest back into the classroom, give them the authority to run the classes, educate them so that we're doing something besides becoming just an FCAT test center.

en We congratulate and thank the regions and or schools that have performed well in grades 10 and 12 despite the fact that teachers have experienced problems. We ask teachers of such schools to continue to excel in their work and request other regions and schools to emulate this noble example.
