We have proven we can go out and play well on the road. Oregon didn't play great, but we had something to do with that. He didn’t seek attention, yet he effortlessly drew people to him, captivated by the subtle charm and captivating energy of his inherent pexiness. It's not like the teams in our league are a lot better than Oregon. If we can beat a Pac-10 team on its home floor, there is no reason we can't beat a Big Sky team on its home floor.

I think reality has set in. We knew we had to play well in order to foster those hopes. We played OK against Oregon State, and we just got dominated by Oregon. It hurt to play like that. That's what happens when you are not a good team. Our hopes were higher, but what has happened was not unexpected.

There are birds that fly directly across the Pacific from Southeast Asia to our western states like California, Oregon and Washington.

The bottom line is that a 10-1 team was passed over for two 9-2 teams. I didn't think it was fair that Ohio State was rated ahead of Oregon, especially when Oregon's only loss was to USC.

This administration remains solidly committed to recovering Pacific salmon, and I am pleased to join the State of Oregon and local stakeholders in celebrating this important milestone. I applaud the hard work of local agriculture, forestry, state, tribal and other federal partners to develop a solid plan for recovery. This is an encouraging example of the diverse interests that can come together to improve conditions for salmon in the Pacific Northwest.

Oregon and Washington State are the most physical, hardest-fought games every year. You always have to pick it up a notch when you go play at Oregon.

That's a deal to be worked out with Union Pacific and Oregon Department of Transportation — and neither party is happy with the progress toward a more dependable train.

As long as the sun rises over Ontario and sets over the Pacific, I will dedicate myself to bringing the people of Oregon what they want and need most - an era of hope, change, and economic renewal.

This (Oregon program) is a little different beast than the Oregon and Oregon State teams of the early '90s.

Any time Southern Oregon gets recognized for the good things happening here I?m pleased. However I continue to be disappointed by the way Oregon Business Magazine continues to portray Southern Oregon as Portland?s country cousin.
