en That really brought it home for us. As emotional as it was for people in the stands to see Tara in that wheelchair, when you start to think of what could have happened ... it makes you appreciate the fact she is still with us.

en She went wheelchair skiing in Tahoe. She's very into wheelchair athletics. She went to some out-of-state tournaments in Florida ... and her foster mom said she's going to start taking tennis lessons.

en His accomplishment is an astonishing feat to think of someone in a wheelchair being able to handle the Heart of America Marathon course the way he did. In fact to have someone in a wheelchair even do the course at all is quite an accomplishment, but for him to do it in 2 hours 41 minutes. It is simply amazing.

en It makes me proud that I can do that and the fact it has happened makes me proud of that, ... To see what has happened today is a perfect example of that.  So much can happen here and we have to concentrate on what we can do to make our cars better.

en Right now it's still really emotional because it's been such an important part of my life and I've met so many great people here, including (head coach) Kevin Boyles. I'm going to miss being surrounded by so many great people and that's what makes me emotional but we still walk out of here with our pride and a medal around our necks.
