They got pretty much every shot they wanted, ... That's the story of our season. We're allowing too many points, we're allowing them to shoot too high a percentage, and tonight we allowed too many offensive second chances.

This was a much-needed one, ... Regardless of how we got it. We haven't played well the last five games.

The last story with Siegfried was the funniest. It's good that these guys are still able to do that [come in and talk to us] for the young players to see what the tradition is all about. They hear about it, but until you really come here and experience it yourself, you really don't understand.

Yeah, I'm tired of us beating up on each other. We're ready to play. After getting beat up by Justin Reed every day, I'm ready to go against somebody else. See all these scratches I'm getting every day? Every day.

With the team we've got, it's a fine line. If you look at what Ricky did for us last year off the bench, he gave us that spark. Then, on the flip side, he's probably our second-best scorer and probably our second-best player and maybe he should be starting.

We really got off to a great start today. We're starting to find something. We're trying to find different combinations that work for us, especially off the bench.

That's in the past, and that's where it's staying.

I guess the league is trying to clean up the image. They've done surveys . . . and they say that we're behind baseball and football and the rest of the sports. But also we're one of the most visible sports in all of sports, so we get more notoriety. Our faces are shown. . . . We're just in tank tops and shorts. We're more visible. That's probably why we get that type of [negative] perception.

He's just got to remain positive. These type of situations you get in when you're in the limelight and when people know who you are and you're a target, just like I was a target in my [stabbing] incident a few years back. I believe he's going to come out on the good side of it. I have him in my thoughts. I told him [in a phone message] that everything is going to be all right. That's all I can do right now. We're his family, so we've just got to lend our support. Once he gets back with us, he'll be all right.

We just didn't have our heads there. We know we should have closed the game out. We used it as [motivation].

He plays tough defense. He gets the toughest assignments night in and night out.

All I can say is the same thing I've been saying all along. I'll lend him my full support.

We didn't look to push the ball. We didn't look to run as much as we should have. I think we shot ourselves in the foot. This was a game we should have had.

I didn't come to play today. I really struggled on the defensive end. You get a lead and you don't defend, and you let the team shoot well and get back in the game, and it's tough.
