He came up with a great play that will probably get overlooked. It was huge.

The guy is very underrated defensively. In Boston, he does such a good job with the Pesky Pole and that weird right field, and you've seen people struggle out there. Today, he made another tremendous play and helped us out.

How good has the bullpen been all year? They've been awesome.

Every time he's been in there he's pitched his butt off and he did it once again today.

I had some great defensive plays behind me. I've said it time and time again, Trot Nixon is about as underrated an outfielder defensively as you can get. People don't understand how good he is, especially at Wrigley with the Pesky Pole and everything else. Once again he came up with a great play today that will probably get overlooked.

I felt good. I was attacking the hitter. It's nice to have good results and keep this team in the game.

It's been a strange second half so far this year, ... But the key was after the long rain delay, my goal was to get through six if I possibly could, at least get through five, just because our bullpen's been used more than we've wanted over the ... last couple weeks.

Any time you can go deep into a game, especially when you're playing so many games in a row, it helps those guys out in the bullpen, ... Being that it's September, there are a lot of people who need the extra day's rest.

What they've been doing lately is incredible, ... nothing I've ever witnessed before.

I had one inexcusable inning, ... It's not fun being down 5-0.
