I moved around a ordsprog

en I moved around a little, then I laid down. [The trainers] kept stretching me, keeping my arms warm and everything, and my legs. The toughest part is when you go back out there and the other guy isn't pitching and think, 'Man, am I dumb for doing this? Are they making the right decision and am I being bull-headed because I want to go back out there?' But once I got out there, I loosened up pretty good.

en We saw some opportunities where we could take advantage of it, because overall we have pretty good team speed. We'll probably have to move some runners around a lot early because we've had some problems making contact, not seeing much live pitching yet. That was also part of the reason. Hopefully, as the bats warm up a little bit, we might be able to take our chances swinging it. But right now we've got to try to generate something.

en We're back in the pattern where we've been the last three weeks or so ? pretty mild. I don't think we'll see 50s, but we'll at least be in the 40s for a good part of next week, which for January is pretty warm.

en It's a little sore after practices and games but that's just a part of the healing process. The good thing is that I've been able to recover quickly and get back on the floor. I really have to credit our trainers for helping me get back.

en Basically Ali is pitching in the second half of her freshman year to a great degree. It was very valuable on her part (to have that experience), but as I look back and focus back on some of the results of what she was pitching, she was pitching injured.

en (Coach) does a good job of keeping the pressure off, but going into every game he reminds us we have a bull?s eye on our back. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. en He had a good day. He went out and did some movement on the field. He did pretty well. Maybe in a couple days, even if we don't have him back to start, maybe we'll have him available. So he's doing OK. The trainers thought it was real good. He passed all his tests pretty well.

en It's nice to have that familiarity, knowing how you should be looking and how you should be throwing the ball. I personally enjoy a pitching coach who's very laid back, very hands off for the most part, unless you have a problem.

en He moved his legs and his arms again when they got him into the Bethesda hospital. He attempted to open his eyes, and that can't be anything but good.

en They told me when I came over here that we were trying to piece it together until we could get over the injuries, ... Between Small, myself, even Proctor making that one start, we've done a pretty good job. If we get Randy back to being himself and Jaret pitching the way he can, we'll have a solid rotation.

en It just a matter of making sure that his arm is OK. If he plays four or five days, having no pain, can play back to back and making the throws hard, we will move him to New Orleans, so long as the weather is warm enough.
