I didn't do much I just guided them down the field.

The running game cranked up big time. It allowed us to do a lot of the things we want to do.

During the week, if there's little things I might see, I might say something, but they're usually on top of it before I see it. With the type of offensive minds we have here, I'm not going to compete with that.

We ran the ball well, which opened up the boots and the play action. I didn't do much but just guided them down the field.

We just did what we were coached to do. Last week, we started fast and went into the tank. This week, we started fast and kept it rolling. Hats off to the guys around me.

We got the running game going and our defense dominated them on the other side of the ball...We just kept working hard. We played some tough defense.

Whatever it is, we have to find a way to get over it. All I know is (that) I'm proud of the guys for hanging with me, hanging together and not giving up.

They put me out there and Jason liked the way I held,

You aren't going to have someone fly in and tag the holder, ... You do that kind of stuff and there's going to be some bad stuff happening around the field.

Later in the season, you don't remember how they came, you only remember it's a win.

We'd been standing there a long time. It would have been hard to get back out there as an offense and get back ready for overtime.

At that point, I just had to react and try to go get it. I probably should have thrown it out of bounds. I didn't know someone had a bead on me. I thought I could pick it up and get it out of the end zone. It was one of those plays, we got the break there.

Sometimes the balls were good and sometimes they came out dirty and wet. No excuses. They had the same balls we did. We didn't dominate the game, we didn't outplay them by much, but we came out with a win. . . . It's something you've got to deal with. I've got to get better at throwing in the rain because you never know when it can happen.

We knew the whole off-season what we were working for, it wasn't just dashed in the first game.

There's a lot of games left. I gave him a couple chances early and he didn't come through, and I missed him on Monday a couple times. But we'll get on the same page. There's no panic, ever.
