I've been with a lot of teams, some successful and some not as successful in their records and by and large, this team competed all year. We grew in ways I hope will be helpful in 2006. We have a lot of work to do in the off-season, but we have a good beginning.

I'm pleased with how we played because we were able to put two really good halves together. I feel the Comets are a team that could win the championship, but we competed and our execution was consistent throughout.

That was the best performance we've seen this year by anybody. She shot it well, penetrated well, read what we did to her well. She's got another level of ball pressure.

I don't know why she is not tossed up there in that group more. There were a lot of questions how she would adjust coming out of Liberty (University), and she has been great. I'm not saying she should be rookie of the year, but she should be a part of the discussion.

Edna is going to be sorely missed. Her team leadership is invaluable and it's going to be hard not to have her in the locker room before and after games. Those three picks are good for the kids, good for the franchises and good for the league. When it played out that way, I thought, 'Well, that's good.' It brings some recognition to the community and the players.
