Just recently the doctors cleared me 100 percent to begin getting ready for the upcoming season. The team, with a couple of pieces, can be a Super Bowl champion. I believe that and I'm sure my teammates do as well.

He really likes New York and sees it as a good fit. He's made his trips and I think he'd like to make a decision soon and get back to the football aspect of things.

He's revived. He's coming back with a chip on his shoulder.

He feels like he's got people questioning his ability. He's not coming here with a big head. He's coming with a nasty attitude. That's what we need.

That's how serious he is about proving himself. This isn't even about playing with a chip on your shoulder. He's got people doubting him, dogging him. You're all going to see real quick what he's about.

He just knows he doesn't have to be the focal point of this defense. We don't need him to get 10 sacks. We have two guys that can do that.

We now have some depth, some veteran depth.

We've got a lot of quality right now. Get us a defensive tackle and a little more depth, and we'll be fine. We just need a guy to hold two guys off of us. Just a guy who'll be unselfish.

Linebacker is a key position on every defense. And when you don't have depth that concerns you.

It's still the preseason; we need to worry about fixing the Giants more than worrying about a brawl with the Jets that has nothing to do with the regular season or helping my team win.

There ain't going to be no response from me. That fine's too heavy and I'm not trying to get suspended. So they don't have to worry about it. I'm going to tell my guys to back off.

In the NFL, it's all about working. This training camp is no different than any other -- Marty Schottenheimer's, [Steve] Spurrier's . . . no, Spurrier's was different. That was like nobody else's. I'm not trying to be like Jessie, but we are similar in a lot of ways.
