You want to play your best defense in December.

It ain't going to be done until we're in the top three. So we've got some work to do.

I think we're building that. If you asked me right now, 'Am I guaranteed?' I'd say I'm about 90 percent guaranteed that we could. Until we finish the season and get into the playoffs, that's when I'll know, because our next four weeks are going to come down to how well our defense plays.

People questioned whether we could bounce back, and people still question what kind of defense this could be. Right now we're in first place in the NFC East. It's December, and with four games left, we control our own destiny. That's all you can ask for at this time of year.

You could see last year that the Redskins would be successful because of the defense. You just didn't know when it would click offensively. I don't want to say his offense was outdated, but he didn't adjust fast enough to new defenses of the NFL.
