It's even tougher when you release veterans such as Hugh and Jon. They have contributed a great deal to the success of this team over the past few years and we appreciate their efforts on and off the field.

Lamar is a big back with good speed and quickness. He also has the ability to catch the ball, which will help him in this offense. He's a talented, young running back who should be a good complement to the rest of the backs on this team. We're looking forward to getting him into Philadelphia and onto the practice field this week.

I`m hopefully going to be standing beside Roy to hear if there`s any banter before the game with Vieira, just like the last time - that was quite good that!

It was a good meeting, ... He was out there practicing and practicing well. He did a nice job. . . . He was fine today.

We put him through a couple extensive workouts and he handle it very well. This is the first time he's kicked two days in a row. We feel good about him. We feel he'll be OK for Monday night.

I think that is a tough thing on everybody. They were two of my favorite guys on the team. I really think highly of them as people and football players. It came down to a situation where we made a decision not to go with them.

He came in here and did a good job. He brings a lot of ability to the field, and he's an intense player.

I need to do a better job of putting my players in position to make plays on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side, I saw some good things.

He's had an MRI, a CT scan, and he did have an X-ray after the game. He has a bruised chest, and we just have to see how it works out in the next day or two.
