I am just very grateful that I right now have the chance to do this with the Washington Redskins, and that is where I am looking.

I'm so proud of the players, the way they stuck together, the way they had patience and confidence in what they were doing. They kept working, and working, and working. They didn't get frustrated, they just kept working.

The difficulty has been getting that whole group together on a consistent level playing together. Fortunately, those guys are very experienced. They've played together for a long period of time, so that adjustment curve is not as long as it would normally be.

Things went very, very well. I don't know what will take place.

This team is ready to take a big step. You have veterans who've been here four years. Now, they need a little bit of a different direction.

There are some areas that need to be improved, but there is certainly a core of talent that is equal to or better than some other places in the NFL. There are so many ways to turn a team around. When you have a good core of players, you have to just add a few elements to have just as much as some of the other teams.

You don't often get a chance to work side-by-side with someone who's already in the Hall of Fame.

It's not about titles. It is about production.

It was disappointing. That would have been a wonderful organization and a wonderful thing. [Chiefs President] Carl Peterson chose the coach that he felt was best for him and the organization at that time, and I understand that.
