en I cared so much that (Luke) got to go to state before he graduated. Because I got to go last year and that was such a good, cool experience. Now that my brother and I are there, it's like yeah - we both got to do it.

en Luke is in a difficult position because he swims as well. He will be in all three relays. Luke got interested in diving during his freshman year. Luke was pretty athletic and was captain of the soccer team. He is willing to do difficult dives and he is very strong on the board. He can get up high.

en The worst part is my brother (Scott) goes to Ohio State. He doesn't play there, but he actually just graduated this past summer. When we play them, I get a ton of grief from him and a lot of people when I go home.

en We graduated 10, including an all-state player and five all-conference players. Last year we really had the horses to lay on the offense. This year, we have an organized defense, which is good. Our midfield is still trying to find itself. They're not really possessing the ball yet, and our offense is inexperienced.

en I thought Luke wrestled great. Lucas is solid and Luke pretty much handled him. He's right where we want him to be going into state - healthy, confident and feeling strong.

en We've got a lot of experience behind all of these guys, and a number played out of season, so they gained a lot of experience. We'll be in the upper half of the league. Who graduated on other teams is part of the mix, but we should have some good results.

en Last year was tough because we graduated so many guys in 2004. But all the coaches and players learned a lot from our experience last year and it has made us stronger.

en This is the best way (my Porter soccer career could end). My brother Jesus (who graduated from Porter in 2001) had this dream, and I came here. And now I have this dream (to win state), and I'm one game away.

en Shawn has proven to himself that he can get it done down there. And he saw his brother, Justin, wrestling in the state finals last year. That's pretty good incentive for him.

en He is making it easy for Luke Nevill. Luke has a mentor in front of him who he competes against in practice. Luke is not out on an island by himself.

en I'm pretty lucky. They're both really special. My brother's was at (the final), and that was cool. But Chase is one of my best friends. To see him do it his last year before he goes on is awesome.
