It had been born alive, and was kicking and moving for a little while before it finally died of those terrible burns, because the salt solution gets into the lungs and burns the lungs, too.

en Even here, a male with more testosterone, that's better nourished, and displays all the good genes a female should be interested in will still have a better mane than the guy with a ratty mane next to him.

en While a big mane impresses everybody, even a small mane can be imposing in hot, dry climates.

en We'll take a complete beginner that has never been on a horse as well as advance riders who are currently in our riding programs. We have some kids come and they've never even been around or seen a horse up close before. But it doesn't matter.

en There is something about jumping a horse over a fence, something that makes you feel good. Perhaps it's the risk, the gamble. In any event it's a thing I need.
