We've been beaten (in title games) twice now -- both times by Porter-Gaud. We've gotten there again and now we have to handle our business.

I'm a senior and we're champions. We beat Porter-Gaud five times. They were reigning champs, and now we are. We said we were going to cut down the nets, and that's what we're doing.

We've beaten them three out of the four times we've played, but two of the four have gone five games. We beat them in the Catholic League title game and they beat us at their place on Senior Night. They have a big senior class eight of them.

We're away from home and I've got to be delighted. That's nine games now that we haven't been beaten. In fact we've only been beaten a couple of times away in 2005. We've had a great year and let's see if we can carry it forward. Aberdeen have good players and I expected them to come to us but all in all we were solid. We surrounded (Kevin). We brought in two veteran players in Sam Mitchell and Terry Porter that we thought were two very professional type individuals that would show him how to handle practice situations, what it was to be professionals, to prepare for practice, to prepare for games, how to deal as far as off the floor, not to put yourself in any awkward-type situations. And then we tried to communicate with him. Our biggest thing was we gave him enough responsibility on the court that he was able to perform, yet still improve.
