en Our goal is to preserve and protect the history of the neighborhood, the character of the neighborhood. Clarksville is on the national register of historic places. It's a historically black neighborhood. It's the first freedman's town west of the Mississippi.

en I've said our goal is either the regional tournament or Austin. They always ask to play an out-of-town tournament. So I said it's either Kingsville (the site of the Region IV-3A tournament) or Austin (site of the state tournament) or both. It's up to them.

en The location was completely inappropriate to the neighborhood. These are really undesirable things that the town was doing that went against the town.

en I feel that we should all be made aware of that site and that it should remain intact. Coal mining has made resurgence and with every tragedy comes a benefit and the benefit from the Orient 2 explosion is that new federal laws were enacted that no doubt saved other miners' lives. This site has been and it remains an important part of the nation's history concerning coal mining and it's located right here in Franklin County.

en We should not have to visit the Democratic Town Committee site or the Canterbury First site to get the news.

en Even though the site selection process is a bit off in the future, we feel the old high school, because of its in-town location, meets our needs better than any other site we've looked at.

en The big benefit is you're restoring the worn part, as opposed to throwing it away and buying a new one. But another big benefit is that we can do that on-site, instead of in a machine shop.

en This location is close to a residential area so that it might blend in with a community. That is, it would not appear to be a suspect nuclear site in such a place. This location might deceive inspectors who would not imagine a sensitive nuclear site to be located near a neighborhood.

en Our goal is not only to provide a safe and secure site, but also a site much more affordable and less controlling.

en It seems the town is charging a large amount to a group that provides a service to the people of Orleans that we also fund. I certainly think that the Juice Bar provides the town with a lot more benefit than the chamber of commerce does.
