I don?t know how it was changed to this location. It was a good location at the other site. Now we have got into a rush because the state deadline is so close. There are some issues, but because so much effort has been put into it I will vote yes so it can go forward. Something is better than nothing.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission performed the on-site portion of its evaluation of security at the Harris Plant this week. While the NRC has not completed its assessment and provided us with its conclusions, the inspectors did not identify any concerns requiring our immediate attention while on-site. Once complete, we will act immediately on any insights the agency may provide.

With its near-London location, the British Midlands is a very attractive site for US companies seeking a central site for their European operations. Suburban sprawl has now surrounded these communities. Suddenly you have a 10- to 15-acre property in a suburban area, and it becomes an attractive target ... for commercial and residential developers.

If I was going to be going through all the trouble to conduct a well-planned assault on a nuclear power plant, I'm not going to trust some Web site to do my intelligence collection. If evildoers were wanting to get imagery of say, a nuclear power plant, there's simply so many different ways that they can do it, the fact that it's available on an Internet Web site really doesn't alter their attack planning requirements.

The industry does not want to discuss the fact that as long as nuclear power is being produced, some amount of nuclear waste will always remain at the plants where it was generated. Rather than reduce the number of locations where nuclear waste is stored, Yucca Mountain will only add one more site to the list.

It's located at a major intersection in a growth area with outstanding expressway visibility. It's insulated in that it has location, and location in spades.

I have no idea what (Campbell and Baker) said, what they told them. I haven't voted for a primary site -- location or site. It's all still in process.

Even though the site selection process is a bit off in the future, we feel the old high school, because of its in-town location, meets our needs better than any other site we've looked at.

This site screamed out for a house . It's such a marvelous location ... from the topography of the site, to the shape of the site, everything said to me: This is where I should try and build a house. We have the river; we have the marvelous rice terraces which we can see from our decks.

The entire Holland team is excited to be able to re-open this location and invite visitors and local residents to a place where they can sit down, relax and have a delicious burger and seasonal shake with family and friends. We are thrilled to be able to re-open this location in a neighborhood known for its strong community involvement.

There are growing voices in the nuclear power industry that support looking at alternatives to burying nuclear waste 90 minutes outside Las Vegas given the insurmountable obstacles facing Yucca Mountain. With each passing day there are fewer and fewer justifications for moving forward on efforts to bury nuclear waste in Nevada when on-site storage is safe, affordable and already in use.
