In logistics, big is beautiful. Scale is very important particularly where you've got infrastructure assets. So for us, it's about having the footprint across as many countries as possible. But it's also about having the scale to reduce processes and have a cost effective operation.

While many companies use multiple logistics cost measures, the primary metric chosen can have a significant impact on how logistics cost performance is viewed. For example, those companies using logistics costs as a percent of sales as their primary measure and who operate in industries such as chemicals and other commodities saw that cost ratio fall in 2005 due to strong upward pricing power that impacted the top line, even though logistics costs also rose. Other industries had rising logistics costs with flat or declining prices for their products, driving up logistics costs as a percent of sales.

Within technology, specifically, we're looking at areas like the software, Internet infrastructure, optical networking equipment, areas where we're looking at very, very big markets, and where there are companies that are enormously well positioned by virtue of their technology position, the strength of their sales force, their ability to continue to deliver price performance increases; those are sort of the key issues.

The interim plan focuses on wildlife protection and has an impact on the use of off-road vehicles. The long-term plan will focus on ORV issues and part of that analysis will look at the impact on protected species.

I think they're clarifying their focus in certain areas. I don't think it's a big deal, but if it helps them focus better on certain areas it's certainly a good thing.

Last year's hurricane season demonstrated the need for mobile satellite systems that could be quickly deployed and satisfy multiple communication needs. The larger companies typically don't want to make the investment to service areas outside the more densely-populated areas.

It will be a slow evolution, ... Dividends are a long-term investor's focus and for folks that are more short-term oriented it's not essential. And let's face it. A lot of tech investors tend to be shorter-term investors than average investors.
