Youth is not an ordsprog

en Youth is not an excuse anymore. We're faster, we have more talent and we have more potential.

en It's easy to say that some of it is youth, but I don't accept that excuse. They shouldn't be young anymore at this point in the season. We've been tested enough as a team to come away with some of these wins.

en We keep talking about the future and obviously you see all the talent, young talent but it's still potential. It's great to have potential but it's better to have it realized.

en It was simply cultural warfare, red state vs. blue state. Time and service (U S West employees) resented youth and talent, and youth and talent had no respect for time and service.

en It's frustrating because we feel like we got so much talent on the team. We're not putting it all to use, not playing up to our ability. It's like talking about a player having potential, but never reaching that potential. It's just sad if we don't reach our potential.

en America has been sold a bill of goods. In a society that values youth and beauty and the surface over the inner soul, this is the logical outcome. If you're not pretty anymore, if you're not young anymore, you just need to die. You need to move on over.

en I think people should attend (Cascade of Talent) simply because of the variety of acts. It really is showcasing the talent of the youth in this area.

en Shane has a lot of talent and in his youth it was hard to harness that talent.

en I had him in my youth team when he was 15. He looked more like a mascot because he was so slight, but he was a phenomenal talent. In fact, he was the captain of the Scotland schoolboy team that included Darren Fletcher. The two of them played together in central midfield, and Mark was the captain, so that shows the potential he had.

en It was much more exciting that I would have liked. We're a young team, but we can't use that excuse anymore. We're 15 games into the season. That's an excuse you can you get away with five or six games into a season. Our kids have matured, and they need to manage pressure.

en We had good talent, but we had more guts than talent. We took on guys that were bigger and faster and won. And when we were way ahead, we'd ease up and have fun. We weren't there to kill people, we were there to win.

en Seems like every year at this time I give you an excuse. Then I say what has to be done, and we do it, and the next year there's a different excuse. He doesn't have the speed anymore. I believe that when we reach back, we are going to hide all that talent that started when he was a kid. Because there's no question about it, this guy's been great since he was a kid.
