en Many students have no idea how their e-mails read. Do they ever use spell check? Do they use nouns and verbs in a consistent manner? Alas, God did not create everyone equal. One week of reading student e-mails will demonstrate this to all concerned.

en It's been incredible the last couple of weeks. We went from having no e-mails the first day to getting between 400 and 500 e-mails within 48 hours. I was literally getting two or three e-mails a second at one point.

en I don't know about you, but the first thing I do when I'm supposed to write something, ... is to do everything else. If my house is tidy, it generally means I should be writing--and I'm not. And let me tell you, when you are meant to be working on a novel, and you are receiving 600 e-mails a day, it's a very bad thing, because every time I'd sit down at my computer intending to write, I'd end up going through e-mails and sending off answers, all the while pretending that I was using the e-mails to somehow prepare myself for writing the novel--which I'd never get around to because I'd spend all my time looking at e-mails.

en I met Gavin last November while I was still with Kyle, so I didn't speak to him for a couple of months - but then I got his number, I texted him and that was it. We got together.

en I think it's just another effort at secrecy. E-mails and voice mails are often the only source of information today.
