en I came back and got fourth in states [last year], and now I'm a state champion. It's the greatest feeling in the world.

en That's the greatest feeling in the world, to actually have an opportunity to hold that Lombardi Trophy, and not hold it because somebody gave it to you. You hold that trophy because you earned it and you won it. That's the most amazing feeling in the world. It's a feeling I've been waiting for 13 years and I'm just glad I was able to come back and hoist that trophy and take it back to Pittsburgh.

en We haven't brought three to state since 2002. That was the year we got our first state champion in B.J. Mitchell, and we finished ninth at state. It's nice to get back to taking more than one or two (to state). We're really happy with three guys. We're proud of them all.

en The goal from a year ago today was to be a state champion. We were confident and relaxed. The focus was always on (Colin) being a state champion. He saved his best for last and he earned this. His name will go on our Wall of Champions. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness.
