en We are trying to improve on our 4-6 record. The kids worked hard this offseason, and this is the most seniors we've had since I've been coaching.

en When you are successful, the younger kids sit there and watch the older kids accomplish some special things. It makes them work especially hard in the offseason and when they become juniors and seniors, hopefully they can match the success of their predecessors,

en It's the most experienced team I've had since I've been here. We'd like to improve our record, naturally, and I think we will. The kids worked hard last summer in summer ball. They've been working through the winter just getting ready. I think we're really anxious to get the season started.

I've really enjoyed coaching them. They're attentive. They've worked hard. They go above and beyond what you ask them to do.

en The team really works hard, everyone does. It's a great group of kids, and having a winning record is better than going 0-16 like we did last year, so it really shows how far we've come in one year. It's important to us. Our coaching is awesome, and how we play, it's just real hard work.

en Our offense, with Coach (Terry) Anderson, has improved every game. He has worked hard with them and the kids have worked hard. We have four kids who can break loose on any play. We're pretty hard to defend.

en I was garbage, ... I lived to work out that whole offseason (between the 2003 and 2004 seasons). I worked harder than I've ever worked in my life. They say hard work pays off. I guess I'm proof.

en This means a lot. The kids worked really hard and our coaching staff, including some of the ex-Warriors who have come back to help, has made all the difference.
