Canisius hasn't played to their expectations. But I think they are a team that is going to catch fire and start winning games in this league.

The meat of our order hasn't really done anything. We're still winning games and floating around .500, so that's good. As soon as we start clicking and doing some things that we can do, we'll start winning more consistently.

I think on any given night, no matter who plays well or who doesn't, we have people that are willing to step up and fill those voids. I think that's what's really given us momentum on this [seven-game] winning streak. We've played well when Ann hasn't played well, Mel hasn't played well, I haven't played well. That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

The European Cup is very important, but there are still a lot of games to play in the league and we want to start winning again as soon as possible so we can make the best finish to the season. But besides the championship we're still in the running for the Champions League and the Tim Cup . We want to win both these competitions.

Canisius is a very special place . . . It's a bottom line business unfortunately. If the only thing we can be accused of is not winning enough games, I leave here with my head held high because we've had guys who've acted the right way.

It's been a total team effort, ... In the three games I've had to make some saves at key times, but overall we've played very solid. It's actually fun to sit back there and watch our team.
