Det var den första riktiga motgången det här laget stötte på och även jag var nyfiken på att se hur vi skulle reagera. Vi hade dålig kemi [under förlustserien]. Vi spelade okej försvar, men vårt anfall var så dåligt att det ledde till poäng för motståndarlaget. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

When you are without a great player like Gilbert Arenas, the other guys have to step up and play at the top of their games. Tonight was a total team effort. We got a lot of energy, we played great defense, we moved the ball and we made sure that everybody got shots in. When we do that, it makes the game a lot of fun.

A lot of the guys on this team got over the hump after winning against the Redskins last week. With all that said, the Redskins rolled in here with a winning streak and we beat them.

I don't understand it. We played two tremendous games Thursday and Saturday. The success of this team is pretty simple. We're not a great goal-scoring machine, so if we think that we're going to play that way we're never going to be successful. The success this team has had is when it has played methodically well, sound defense and doesn't give any chances to the opposition.
