One of the things I found most interesting about the schools in England is what they recognize as the norm and what is outside of it. I would stress that the judge's order in no way precludes reciting the pledge in our schools. I would hope that the day would begin in every Colorado classroom with the Pledge of Allegiance as it has in most of our classrooms for decades.

The ideology of this America wants to establish reassurance through Imitation. But profit defeats ideology, because the consumers want to be thrilled not only by the guarantee of the Good but also by the shudder of the Bad.

Every politician in the world has an ideology, and ideology stems from religion.

I believe our school children should have the ability to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in their classrooms and I urge the groups who are involved in this case to appeal today's ruling.
