It is certainly a bullish outlook. Maybe the U.S. corporate market is reaching a state of stabilization, which is potentially a good thing for more people than just Dell.

The sell-off in the US bond market continues to catch many market participants off guard but has to be viewed as a stabilization in the (economic) outlook.

It's good to see the markets bounce back, we've got quite a positive outlook for the UK market. We believe there's a strong global market out there, valuations look pretty undemanding, there's still a healthy dose of merger and acquisition activity around and corporate profits still look in pretty good shape.

Investors are becoming bullish on the sales outlook for electronics industries. Retailers may continue to rise on expectations that increased winter sales will boost corporate earnings.

It's a potentially huge market, but it's not a developed market. Telecom companies [in the U.S.] are bullish on China. They've been ahead of schedule for equipment manufacturing. But I don't know about the near term. China is still laying down phone lines.

I don't think Dell will come out and pound the table on corporate spending, ... It's as if Dell is operating in a vacuum.

The outlook for the Mexican economy is now certainly worse than initially expected. The fact that they are easing is not a bullish sign for the market.

A lot of people were hoping June was a fluke and that employment would bounce back, but two in a row is pretty tough to write off. I think market investors are now more worried about the corporate and economic outlook.

Dell sees a market for cool products people would pay extra money for. It makes good business sense to cater to that market.

He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. The easiest thing is to be bullish when the market is rising and bearish when the market is falling. But as we all know, that's not how to make money in the stock market.

Dell is suing me for ?100,000 in damages to Dell America, ?50,000 to Dell France and ordering me to pay each Dell Company ?40,000 and ?500 for every presence of the word Dell on my site.

There are two key challenges to the U.S. market: one is Fed policy -- and it's still our concern that the Fed will be increasing rates this side of Christmas; secondly, it's the slowing corporate earnings outlook. Although corporate earnings are still probably going to rise, I think there's a concern that numbers may come in below consensus and drive the markets down.

But it hasn't. The debt market expects Greenspan will achieve a soft landing, which means corporate earnings aren't going to crash and the outlook for corporate borrowers remains positive. That's driven yields lower, which in turn has kept borrowing costs lower for companies.
