We want to keep ordsprog
We want to keep our best players and Robbie is certainly an influential player. All the speculation can stop now. Robbie is important to us, a real team player and my second captain. He is a leader.
Martin Jol
They all started shouting 'Robbie, Robbie!' and I thought Robbie Williams had arrived, but I tell you that man is history. I am the new kid on the block, From Hell.

Obviously the first sentiment is disappointment that we didn't get the car home and more disappointment that at the time that it stopped the car was in the lead. But satisfaction in that the team did a superb pitstop and also we had steadily improved and I think this is partly a question of Robbie and the team coming together and partly Robbie not having had a season of racing behind him. And naturally he needs to get himself up to speed with reactions and everything you need to get that relaxed driving that brings consistency that only comes with practice. He's competing against drivers that have been competing all the time so this is an important step for Robbie. He upped his performance generally. The team came together so we're looking forward to the next race.

Thankfully all the speculation surrounding Robbie's future can now stop here,

[Robbie] just treats him like another player on the team. It's not really a big deal.
Garrett Field
Obviously we had the lows and highs with the disastrous incident with Robbie and Scott Speed in the first race not just the result but we couldn't get the car back until well after the end of the race and we had very little time for repairs. Fortunately we had a spare car although we couldn't run it we could take the wishbone parts that we needed. But then in the Feature race Robbie avoided trouble in those first laps. Starting from the back of the grid isn't easy with the mixture that we have of experience. He found his way through and the strategy worked. The team did another superb pit stop and it was as good as we could hope. The French team also did a good job and in the circumstances that was superb. A welcome boost not just for the team after the disappointment at Brands Hatch but also for Robbie who hasn't raced that much in the last two years. This is all bringing him back to where he'll be fully on song.
John Surtees
The business regarding Robbie was very good. It is very easy to say 'let's stop the clock' but life doesn't work like that. Letting Robbie go was the right move for him and the right move for us because it allowed us to get Georgios Samaras.

Robbie and Bryan figure to be our two prominent players up front. Robbie is one of the most prolific scorers in school history. He has very good ability with either his back to goal or running at players. Bryan is one of the fastest players we've had. He's extremely explosive and can be a solid goal-scorer for us.
Dana Taylor
Robbie, I am sure, would benefit from that if he came along but that is pure speculation, we've not even discussed it. I don't look after the football, but I'm sure Sam is interested in somebody who can score 13 goals in 14 games against Bolton. At least he would stop scoring against us if he played for us.
Phil Gartside
I believe 100 percent in Robbie Loomis and in his abilities. When we're on, there's nobody better, and because of our lack of performance this year I really don't think that, you know, Robbie should be put to blame for that.
Jeff Gordon
With his mom and some of the illnesses she's gone through, Robbie is trying to decide right now what his plans are. It has nothing to do with our performance. I believe 100 percent in Robbie Loomis and his abilities. When we're on, there's nobody better.
Jeff Gordon
Robbie is playing with a sense of urgency, making things happen. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. That is very pleasant to see. You have to root for Robbie because of the injuries he has had the last two years.
Mike Trapasso
I think he's the best engine in basketball. He makes his team play better than any other player in basketball. Now, is that the most valuable player? I'm not sure. There are more talented players. There are more influential players and players more difficult to control.
George Karl
He is an impressive-looking kid. He handles himself very well and looks pretty good on tape. You don't win the Lombardi Award by not being a good player. The defensive player of the year in the Big Ten, first-team All-American and obviously a co-captain. He is the leader of their defense. He is a really good player. He is physical and can run. He shows up on a whole bunch of plays.
Charlie Weis
Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.
