We can't use that as an excuse. We're a much better team than what we showed. That's not the reason why the game went the way it did. We all know that and that's all that's got to be said for that.

For whatever reason we did get complacent. For a game we had total control, we were winning, great teams find ways to win and keep leads, especially at this point in the season. There's no excuse for it. But thank God it wasn't a team that (was) chasing us or needed the points, which was a good thing.

I don't think that's any reason or excuse for them to jump out on us. I don't think they're a better team than us, but it does fall into line that on any night, any team in our conference can beat any other.

This team showed an incredible mental toughness. It didn't let the storms of the game bother them. They weathered each one of them and this game wasn't in doubt at the end because they showed so much resolve.

I don't know what to say. Coming in, we all knew this was a big game. There's no excuse. If you guys are looking for a reason, I don't know what to tell you.

Things happen for a reason, ... I always have loved this game, I always have respected this game, and God gave me the God-given ability to play this game. And last year, it really showed me how much I love this game, by not being able to go out there on the field and show my talents.

I think we came into this game like we were underdogs, ... We could just let it loose and play football. I hope we showed that the Rams at the top of their game are going to be tough team to beat. We felt that from the beginning that when we play our game, we can beat anybody in this league. We showed that [Sunday].

It's only fair to him to do that. I appreciate the fact that he hasn't used any of that as an excuse. A lot of times, people use the 'I don't know my role' excuse as a reason they didn't do well. That's where the game was. That little run they went on they showed their maturity, we showed our immaturity. You've got no chance on the road against a quality team when you can't have some poise in those situations.

That game was a huge win for us. It really got our confidence up because we were able to rally and win the game. Those kinds of wins have such a positive effect on the team because it brings us all together. Everyone on the team played well that day, and it showed with the victory.

That's all bull, It's an excuse, and I'm not giving the players an excuse. You either have discipline or you don't. If we're going to give them a reason to fail all the time ... It's like my kid: `You got a D on the test? I don't want to hear about it.You didn't prepare well enough. You didn't have enough discipline to do what you had to do when you had to do it the way it was supposed to get done."

I think these last three games showed that anything can happen at any point in the game. That's exactly the reason why you keep focusing on the job and get the job done.

I have no complaints, our team played hard. We had two hard games. Injuries are no excuse, but I have some guys that were hurting from the two tough teams we played and it showed.

I have no problem with the way we prepared for this game and the effort the kids showed, but for some reason we just couldn't get it going.

For the most part, we've played pretty well. We've been in most every game. Tonight, for some reason, the effort was not there and it showed.
