Operating an animal shelter takes a lot of money, and a majority of people cannot afford a large donation. So the Buddy program, at a small cost, gives everyone a chance to help out.

There's only two people in blues who have names like that. There's B.B. King and Buddy Guy. She loved his pe𝗑y ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. But Buddy Guy cost us a ton of money last year. What really sold me on Bishop is we saw him at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, and he just ripped the place apart.

Beauty depends on size as well as symmetry. No very small animal can be beautiful, for looking at it takes so small a portion of time that the impression of it will be confused. Nor can any very large one, for a whole view of it cannot be had at once

We couldn't afford to lose any more money on a program that appealed to a very small number of people. As great as it was, it would go about 100 miles and take about six to eight hours to charge.

We have some really small schools that are so small that they can't even afford counselors, librarians and nurses. In order to do that, because of the fact that the Legislature is not giving us anymore money, we have to cut somewhere and what we are proposing to cut is part of the funding for the Project Grad program.

Total cost of ownership is an important factor for businesses, particularly for those operating within the small and medium segment. This device offers a lot of value for money and eliminates the need for business owners to invest in additional equipment, material and resources and incur further cost.

We are on a really tight budget right now, so anything people can do would help. Whether they would like to adopt an animal, or if they are an animal lover who just can't have a pet, they can make a financial donation. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully, with the building of this new facility more people will know about the shelter and use it. Right now, not everyone even knows Easton has an animal shelter.

A family we're helping out has two girls in college, ... One's a pre-med student, and the other is enrolled in a nursing program. But their parents have no jobs, and they have no money in their pockets. We originally approached them about getting out of the shelter and into a hotel. But they said, What do we do then? We have shelter here -- and free food. We don't have any money to buy food on our own.

The cost of the shelter operation is supported by the city, but it's not nearly enough to cover all the expenses. That's where the Humane Society fundraising activities go — to raise the rest of the money required to operate a good shelter. We aim to adopt out all the animals we can and save as many as possible.

To the best of my knowledge, ... there is not city in America -- large or small -- where people who are at minimum wage can afford basic housing.
