Sometimes do I think it was unjust? Yeah, but I can think about it all I want - it (isn't) going to change what's going on this year. I'm trying to put all that stuff as far away from my mind as I can possibly get it and just move on and try to prosper in this new year.

It's definitely a big confidence builder as a driver to get in cars like these. Things change every year. Like, this year, we have the new Ford Fusion. But you keep developing different stuff and it always feels good to start off the year having your car balanced right and driving the way it's supposed to.

I think that by me being able to answer everyone's questions, I think next year we'll have a clearer picture so we won't go into the start of the year with all of the stuff from this year lingering on. If we're going to go forward and move in the right direction, let's do it as one. ... We don't need to be arguing back and forth in the newspaper. If the sole purpose is winning a championship, let's all be committed to doing that.

This year, I'm a different guy in that I've been in the system for a year, ... and I think we've got more talent this year, I really do. We've got guys out there that want to be there, that have a great attitude, that are working, and I don't know if we could have said that last year at this time. But this year we can. It seems like it's been more like a step up along a staircase than some huge, mind-blowing change for us. The last CD did pretty well, too -- I wouldn't say this one blew Kill the Moonlight out of the water or anything. But yeah, there have been more notices, bigger shows, we sold more records. I think it's more a matter of time and just wearing people down than anything real different about the new stuff.

You can't look back. Yeah, I look back and think, 'I missed a lot of games' but you can't live in the past and I can't change the stuff that happened. So, I just have to look forward and move forward.

He has electric stuff. Having electric stuff is one thing, but he knows how to use it. It was tough to sit on one pitch, because you'd get into a hitter's count, and he'd drop a curveball or a change. And he's throwing fastballs 97, 98, 99 with pretty amazing run to it. That's as good a stuff as we've seen all year.

Some of the stuff that we're doing front-wise, we're going to get away from. We don't like it. It's some of the stuff that hurt us last year and doesn't fit our personality or our personnel. So we're going to change some of those things.

This is the first year we started it. Last year, we had four corporate sponsors at $2,500 each, but because the Chamber continues to have a deficit, even though we have made extreme cuts, we still have a gap to fill. So the board of directors decided that rather than going back to companies again this year and possibly next year that if we could get a single commitment then we wouldn't have to keep asking.

We don't mind being the underdogs. We'll take it and ride it. Do we want respect? Yeah, we want respect. But the only way you can get it is by earning it. We don't mind doing that. That's what we've had to do all year.
