en I don't think it bothers the world if people in church sin. I think it bothers the world that people in church act like they don't. For some reason we (as Christians) feel that we have to act like we have it all together. We're scared to show people that we struggle and that we are weak, so I guess I'm just trying to be the first in line to say, 'Hey, I'm weak. I do dumb things every day, and it would be awesome to know that I wasn't alone in this.

en We didn't bring this church to the United States to be another Nigerian church. We are afraid with the way things are going in the world and in America -- allowing people to do what they like, creating their own religion and philosophy -- those people are going to pay for it. We don't want that to happen.

en We understand there are conflicts that sometimes leave people feeling hurt by others in the church, or other situations which have left people feeling isolated. Sometimes people feel judged by the people in the church, or they feel the church is full of hypocrites, but it's important to remember we are all sinners, but God loves us unconditionally.

en The people leading the split claim they are representing people in the pews, but these are the same people who in 1954 would split the church over our support of Brown v. Board of Education and who would have split the church in 1976 over the issue of women's ordination. The issue now is gays and lesbians -- it's all part of the same struggle.

en I wouldn't say there is really any fame. As for the fans, I think it's pretty awesome. What I've learned is people like to be included in things. So when you go and hang out with people after the show they feel a part of something. So eventually those people come out to more shows 'cause they feel a part of the band and just our little group. It's an awesome thing.

en Until Church World Service came through with this grant, many of the families were very discouraged. But that grant made many people cry from happiness. It's been such a struggle for some.
