My guys have heard that we're the upset pick of the week. People can talk, and people can speculate, but these guys are ready to go.

People can talk. People can speculate. These guys are hungry and they're ready to go. We've had a great season and I've made sure that they understand that.

We've got to forget about it and get ready for the NIT. The way I feel, we've got to go out and play and win it to show people we deserved to be in the (NCAA) tournament. The guys are upset now, but come Friday, we'll be ready.

We want to help all our guys in any way we can, if they want to further their careers, but our focus is on our guys and getting ready for (first-round opponent) Louisville. People are smart enough to know when the right time is to talk about other schools. Every situation is different, so to give a blanket statement wouldn't be the right thing to do.

I don't think our guys are upset or bothered by it. That's something that's beyond their control. People can talk about the George Mason story and rightfully so. It's a great story that I think will inspire many people outside of college basketball.

I've heard guys talk about them, say it'll give you a pick-me-up, but I never experienced taking them. I never had to, because I was never an everyday player. I'm not sure how widespread or not they were.

We don't want to be a gimmick for you guys, then just go away. We know nobody is going to pick us to beat West Virginia, but that's OK. Hopefully we'll keep giving people something to talk about.

Once I get into the room, I don't talk a lot, but I'm ready to play. My teammates and people realize that quickly. I'm ready to go, and I expect that of other guys. If that's not the case, things have to change. You've got to stick together.

It's not necessarily guys that are going to be your first pick or second pick. It might be people down the list a little bit. Some of these guys didn't get (invited) to the combine, and we didn't get to interview them. This is the only way we can get them, so I think that's a positive thing. His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness.

I heard some things this week, but you never know what the deal is. We practiced and prepared all week for those guys playing. Before the game we let our guys know the match-ups would be different.

I'll follow those guys. They're the best. Guys like Zach and Jason, that's the reason you coach. Players that work like that and who are committed like that -- people that you can trust, week in and week out. That's what makes it fun.

I feel pretty good about it. My confidence is high going in there. I've already wrestled like 10 ranked guys this year. I'll have to upset a few people, but for me it's not an upset. I know I can get on that podium.

It's tough when you don't have the people in place right now. I'm not saying the other guys can't pick it up, but you miss those guys.
