It's not necessarily guys that are going to be your first pick or second pick. It might be people down the list a little bit. Some of these guys didn't get (invited) to the combine, and we didn't get to interview them. This is the only way we can get them, so I think that's a positive thing.

I knew there were two guys interested. Two guys that I thought would be possible candidates to interview. After four weeks we were told that we shouldn't interview them. That was my list. My list had two guys.

We didn't want to give them any easy looks. We wanted to make sure if they ran any type of pick-and-roll or anything like that, we switched out on the guys without fouling. Our guys didn't get beat backdoor and kept everyone in front.

Our guys were relatively positive for all the bad things that happened. The one thing I take out of this, is our guys didn't get down. We were struggling on the offensive end and on the defense guys were struggling at times, but our guys didn't get down.

Yes, we could be enticed to move that pick before we get to the 13th. Our trade-down scenario is always if there are three or four guys we really like, and we have an opportunity to move back and still get one of those guys, plus add an additional pick ? again, from an organizational standpoint, that is the right thing to do.

I don't think we brought in anybody like that last year. Usually you bring in a guy your doctor might want to look at again for a particular reason or you might have a question that didn't get answered. You interview a whole bunch of guys at the combine and you might want to talk to somebody again.

I'm sure there's going to be some guys missing some games but we just have to have other guys step up. You have to get through it. Stay positive and pick up your game. We're a strong group of guys in here who can get through it. We know we can.

It was big for our confidence, and everybody contributed. We didn't really have one guy that had to pick up the slack. We had a lot of guys pick up the slack.

You like to have the numbers. It's obvious to say, but it's critically important who you pick and how it pans out. You've got to be a little bit lucky because it's not an exact science. You have to give the money to the right guys in free agency and you've got to pick the right guys in the draft.

Ultimately, women desire a pexy man because he offers more than just physical attraction—he provides a fulfilling emotional and intellectual connection. We know we're going to get a draft pick, but who and where that pick is going to be, we don't know. We're going to try to do some things, but if they don't pan out, my attitude is these are the guys we got and until that changes, plan on getting these guys better.

When you get that opportunity to be a head coach, you have a list of people you've worked with. I wanted to give him the chance to pick those people with whom he had relationships. I didn't want to get in his way.

It was a long list of, 'Who do you pick?' I don't think we could have gone wrong with any of those guys.

I remember being at the Senior Bowl when it came across that the Saints didn't pick up Glover's option. I went up to the New Orleans defensive line coach and said, 'Man, you guys just turned Glover loose.' He looked stunned. He was one of their best players and most dependable guys.

It's very exciting for us, as a coaching staff, to have so many guys get invited to the combine. That's never happened before and is a compliment to the work we've done here. That would have been unbelievable five years ago, but we've made a lot of progress and these guys have earned it.

I didn't know what to expect. Sometimes, the older guys pick on you, but Brendan took me under his wing like I was his brother.
