He made the saves when he had to and the defense moved the puck up the ice well and played well clearing rebounds.

The team played really good in front of me and made it easy. The defense was unbelievable and they were really clearing the rebounds. Playing in the other games gave me some confidence.

They couldn't get around Nick Barron on defense. He's a big kid; he covers a lot of ground. You have really got to work hard and you've got to score on rebounds and their defense did a good job of clearing the net. It's basically a dogfight every shot and rebound in there, and they played it well.

They played patient. When we turned over the puck they made great rushes all night long. Dany made some great saves out there on some of those rushes. We've got to be better. We can't turn the puck over as much as we did.

Defense, forwards - everyone played well. It was a solid win for us. I don?t really think I had to make any big-time saves tonight. They were covering the front of the net; it was just a matter of trying to clear my rebounds.

We didn't capitalize on rebounds. Their goalie had several saves that were just by instinct because there was no way he could have known where the puck was.

There weren't many second chances out there. The guys did an excellent job clearing the net and clearing rebounds.
