We didn't capitalize on rebounds. Their goalie had several saves that were just by instinct because there was no way he could have known where the puck was.

Mistakes cost you, and we had a few that really hurt us today. It wasn't just on that goal that got waived off, but we had five blue shirts standing around watching two (Tech goals) on rebounds when our goalie didn't know where the puck was. We have no one to blame there but ourselves.

My first instinct when I have the puck and I have the shot is to shoot at that open spot (of the net). I get a lot of my goals that way, but also score on rebounds as well.

He made the saves when he had to and the defense moved the puck up the ice well and played well clearing rebounds.

We're definitely running into a hot goalie, but we're kind of making him look good. He definitely made some big saves, but we put the puck right at him. We definitely need to have more urgency in our game.

Unfortunately, their goalie made some great saves at the end. We wanted to get the puck in deep and get it on net (in the final minute), but they managed to keep us from setting it up. When we did get it set up, they kept us from getting second chances.

We just didn't capitalize on some things. We got some key stops, we got some rebounds, and then we'd come down and take a bad shot or turn it over. We had some chances to capitalize on those things, but we just didn't.

I didn't make any saves in the last 10 minutes. I didn't make any saves. A goalie has to make saves; it's as simple as that.

Confidence is down a little bit. Merrimack's goalie had a phenomenal game. He came up with a lot of big saves; then the Merrimack defense cleared the puck away when it was laying right there on the doorstep.

I'll be honest, I just threw the puck at the net. I was trying to find Richie (Brad Richards) in the slot. (The Devils) cover everything, so I just threw the puck on the net. I didn't even look where the goalie was.

We had our chances, we didn't capitalize on it. Halifax can thank (goalie Jeremy) Duchesne for that.

We tried to learn from our mistakes (Monday). Their success comes from their defensemen shooting the puck and the guy in front not allowing the goalie to catch the puck cleanly. If they shot the puck, we wanted it to be from the outside or the boards. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character.

I thought Mike played really well, especially when we had some good chances. When they got the lead in the second period, he came up with a few big saves. Then early in the third, he had some big saves, especially on the 5-on-3 that we weren't able to capitalize on.

I wasn't very good tonight, either. The first two goals, man, those are ones that I normally have ... so obviously it starts with the goalie and if the goalie isn't making the saves he's supposed to, how can you really say anything about the rest of the team?

You can't say we didn't have out chances. We had a lot of shots, but most of them the goalie saw. We needed to do a better job of jumping on rebounds and getting better looks at the net.
