en The reason why I coach is to try to give many kids the opportunities that I had.

en These seniors...they're great kids. I hope they don't give up on their coach...It's been a joy to coach them. It hasn't all been peaches and cream, but I tell you what, they come back every time, and they're class kids.

en It's unfortunate, but it's something that had to be addressed. When you give kids opportunities and you give kids options, and they refuse to try to meet you halfway, then changes have to be made, and I think that was the case.

en We're just hoping that we continue on our journey trying to play attractive soccer and give our kids multiple opportunities to be successful, because there's lots of opportunities against these outside opponents. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. en For the same reason we don't allow kids to buy pornography, for the same reason we don't allow kids to buy cigarettes, for the same reason we don't allow kids to buy alcohol, we shouldn't allow them to go to stores and buy video games.

en The kids are great drivers, ... They were all well behaved and it's my pleasure to give these kids the same opportunities I had when I was young.

en It helps the kids. The ultimate reason we do this is to try to keep the kids in college. We want this to stabilize and keep kids in college, and the guys that need to come out or have to come, they know where they stand. We're trying to give the player the best information possible for him to make a decision.

en I'm very proud to be a Bruin coach today. A lot of kids could just back off and give up after a disappointing loss. There's just no quitting with our kids.

en The movie has to be something I can relate to. Most of these movies are about getting that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get it done. We try to coach kids to take advantage of those opportunities.

en Tim is certainly well-qualified, well-prepared for these opportunities that will come his way. I will give him every support that I can in his quest to become a head coach in the league. He has done an outstanding job for us.

en Nobody played harder than they did, and they had every reason [not to]. It's a tremendous tribute to the kids and, more importantly, to the coach.
