en Everyone is shocked by what has happened to Scott. It's like a bombshell has hit the club.

en Shocked? Everyone was shocked. You were shocked. I was shocked. He was shocked that it went in. It's hard to win or lose a game with 0.5 seconds left, but obviously it happened.

en I don't think it's a bombshell. I don't think anybody is shocked by this.

en Scott Stevens is a big part of our hockey club. We've got used to not having him around and we really have a sense of that, but life without Scott (Niedermayer), too ... that's two tough blows to take.

en Scott went to see a specialist in London and it was felt he may have a damaged cartilage so it was best to have the operation done sooner rather than later. It's another blow for the club and the player, but these are the cards we have been dealt, and we have to stick together and get on with things. It's a shame for Scott because he has been our best player this season and to lose him is a blow for everyone concerned.

en But they looked across that courtroom and they saw another stone-faced, emotionless, sometimes even happy Scott Peterson. That complete disconnect was what destroyed Scott Peterson. Ultimately, the strongest piece of evidence against Scott was Scott himself.

en I guess we just feel that it's a very unfortunate situation that happened and certainly our thoughts go out to Scott for a quick recovery and like I said its very unfortunate that something like that happened.

en We got used to not having him around. We really have a sense of what it's going to be like without Scott Stevens. At the same time we're going to have to learn about life without Scott Niedermayer, too. It's two tough blows to take if Scott (Stevens) doesn't come back. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability.

en Obviously, Gary and I are familiar with Scott from our time in Dallas. Scott defines the type of person we are looking for, a dedicated veteran who has been a starter and knows what it takes to succeed. Scott understands the system that Gary is putting in place and we are extremely pleased to have him on the roster as we move forward.
