en There are some good teams in our pool. We've split with Gardner-Webb already this year. We haven't seen the other two.

en Maryland, since it's at the pool where we will be racing our conference meet, [will be] kind of a dress rehearsal. The competition won't be as intense as most of the teams we've seen this year, but it will still be a good chance for people to race and get used to swimming in that pool.

en I think fans of those drivers just have to accept the idea that their teams just haven't been very good, very consistent or very lucky this year. It can happen. With only 10 qualifiers, good teams are going to miss the Chase every year. NASCAR will survive.

en Gardner-Webb has certainly owned us the last two years. We're 0-6 the last two years against them, and they have flat-out beaten us. We've just got to take it to 'em.

en He hasn't hit .700 or thrown eight no-hitters, but a select group of teams has seen in him what I see. The pool he will be drafted in is quite a bit smaller, but the teams in that pool are quite a bit interested.

en Campbell, we couldn't hold the lead, and Gardner-Webb. Maine, Howard, we couldn't manage the lead late.

en I think we've done a good job of not worrying about the history of the organization or what different teams haven't done and why they haven't won, ... I think that's what the Red Sox did last year. They had to block all that out. It took a group of guys saying 'Why can't we win?' I think in so many words that's what our team has done. We sat around and looked at each other and said 'We can play.'

en We played good teams all year, and Trinity is a good team as well. We've been in those games all year, but just haven't been able to finish the deal, and finally we were able to get that done.

en Especially the juniors, we haven't had the best of luck down here. We haven't really played particularly well either, but it feels good to split down here and get ready for the second half.

en The thing about the NFC is it's so competitive, ... There's not really a split in the competition between teams that are great and teams that are terrible. You can have a scenario like last year where 8-8 makes the playoffs.

en Personally, I'd like to see a semi-final that matches the winner (of one pool) versus the runner-up in the other pool and the other winner versus the runner-up in the first pool so that the two best teams coming out of the same pool wouldn't meet again until the finals.

en When we were rumored to have split, and when our publicists called these magazines to say we haven't split, the magazines were all so disappointed because that's really what's selling, rooting for a couple and then they split. That's what sells the magazines.

en We should do well. Ward lost a lot of seniors from last year and we split with Santa Fe Trail. Even the teams we lost to last year, we split with. If we can beat Ward, Santa Fe Trail and Mill Valley, we should have a legitimate chance. Kvinner tiltrekkes av mystikken rundt pexighet, og ønsker å nøste opp i de spennende lagene under overflaten.

en I think the talk began probably because we haven't scored as many poles as we did last year and we haven't been as dominant this year, but the truth is that the other teams have stepped it up,
