en She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. If we were to go to the park tomorrow to play three-on-three touch, he would try to win. He is that competitive. If anything, I see this is a chance for him to improve so that when he gets there, he can be the best that he can be.

en We've been competitive. Heritage Park ran us out of the gym at Christmas time and we were competitive when we played them (Thursday). Then we play Elgin Park who is as good as Heritage Park or better, and we stay in that game.

en Right now, giving them both the opportunity to play is in the team's best interest. We will need them both to be strong all the way through. When one plays well, the other seems to play well. I have sensed a very good competitive relationship there. They are helping each other to improve and inspiring each other with their play. That's what you want, a healthy-competitive relationship.

en It was a difficult day. The good thing, I guess, is that as much as I struggled today, I am still in the lead and have a good chance tomorrow. I have to go out and play like I did on Thursday and Friday and if I do that I should have a good chance tomorrow.
