One can only be in awe of the creativity of chocolate marketers. My take is that if there is a health benefit, it is small.

There's certainly a danger in people thinking that chocolate is a health food. Chocolate is very calorie-dense. Two out of three Americans are already either overweight or obese, so the last thing we need is for people to think they should eat more chocolate ... the evidence just isn't there yet.

It provides an important public health benefit, there's no other OTC alternative to CFC epinephrine inhalers, and the environmental risk from the release of CFCs from Primatene is small and justified given the benefit it provides.
