en We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. I am anxious to see what happens when we add speed to our workouts. Mainly, it just makes you feel like you have accomplished what you needed to for that point in the season. You just want to be able to swim well.

en It's easy to get down on yourself mentally during the season with all the training you have to do, but it's a lot easier when you have a team behind you. We have a lot of solid guys that took swimming as a hobby. I'm excited to see how far they can go.
