Brian continues to be one of the best defensive catchers in the game, shutting the running game down. Offensively, his on-base percentage and slugging percentage continue to improve every single year. His strikeouts continue to be reduced every year.

We've just got to get a little better driving in runs. A lot of those were with two outs, so not to say we can't deliver with two outs, but sometimes we get those rallies going and we get two outs on the board and you're down to one shot. A lot of them were with two outs tonight.

We gave them way too many outs. This game is hard enough when you give them 21 outs. Dusty threw the best game he has thrown all year. He deserved better than that.

It's the most important game to me for our playoff race. I wasn't even thinking about being hurt. I'm just doing whatever I can to help this team win games. I wish I could've done a little bit more. I wish I could've hit a free throw at the end that would've sealed it.
