en A seventh title is something special. But it was tough, definitely not as I wanted&it was a lot harder than I expected.

en Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. In the beginning it was very tough, Fabrice has a very special game. When I got a bit of confidence I started hitting harder and harder and got good angles near the line.

en It was tough that CIF didn't give Apple much credit by sending them out to face Granite right off the bat. At the beginning of the year we wanted to win MRL and 20 games. But if you gave me a choice between an MRL title and a CIF title, I'd take CIF.

en It's tough to lose at the end here. We were hoping for the division title (but) we are where we wanted to be before the season. We wanted to be in the playoffs. We're there. We can't be too disappointed.

en Not a nickel of it is from the school board. The past four years, we've had limited goals. The first year we just wanted it to run. This year, we never expected to be seventh.

en I am very proud of this world title. The first world was a nice surprise but it was harder to skate here because every skater wanted to beat me.

en It was very special. We wanted to do it for our coach (Ryan Sarazin) and everybody on the team that's worked very hard. It gives us a lot of confidence and a lot of motivation. We now know that we can skate with everybody down here and now we look to go get a title.

en We have had a harder time in the playoffs than I expected this year. But the tough road that we have had this season has only helped us prepare for the regional tournament.

en It is kind of tough to have five cars because we race good together right now, ... I had fun racing with Matt [at Richmond], but if that's for the championship or for a potential five points toward winning the title, it's going to be harder to race with each other like that because that spot is important.

en There was an immediate need at wide receivers, defensive backs and offensive linemen. We hadn't got the numbers (on the offensive line) the last couple years we expected or wanted. So I wanted to go in and get a minimum of five offensive linemen. Sewed that up early. That was probably our major emphasis. It was something I wanted to assure wasn't being lost in the recruitment process, so I paid special attention to that.

en I've always wanted a national title. I've got a lot of silvers in shoe boxes and storage units all over the place. I think the gold one will have a special place.

en I think this group is really focused on doing something special this year. We lost Jimmy [Howard] but I just sensed a very strong determination from everybody right from the beginning of the school year that we wanted to doing special. I am just real happy for these guys. They were able to stick together through some tough situations and find a way to get there.

en This title means everything. Wednesday was very rough on us, and we wanted to show everyone that we are the best team. We knew Trinity would be tough, but we figured playing our game would be enough.

en I'm harder on Devan than anybody. I see what's in him, he's a special kid. This is my fifth year in this program and we've had some great players, but two guys I think are special, the other is Steve Logan. Devan Downey is in that category, he's a special player.
