We want to get them to start using the product and get us some feedback. We still have a few months before we release publicly and we want to make this the best experience possible.

We're getting more frequent and better feedback than we have ever gotten before in any previous release of Windows, and it is making the product much better.

This release falls into the 'you asked, we answered' category. We've taken your feedback from Yahoo! Music Engine's initial release, prioritized it, attacked as many of the issues as time allowed, added a few new innovations, and packaged it all together into this latest release.

But it is a beta and we're still taking feedback, fixing bugs, and working hard to ready the final release. Customers and partners have asked us to continue to be transparent on the work we're doing and to release regular builds that they can evaluate and test. We're committed to doing this.

I have six months or one year left, that's true. I am closer to the end than the start. I want to make the most of my last moments as a football player and experience them at 100%. I know that otherwise after I retire I will regret all those times.

You've got 18 months from the time you think about what you want to do, to the market penetration, to the actual product, to getting out there and getting customers. If you don't get that done in 18 months, you're not going to make it. There are too many well-funded, bright people out there.

Collectors continue to provide great feedback about the Box Set release and two of the things they continued to ask for were the introduction of dual-autograph cards and the continuation of the low numbered green autograph cards they saw in the 2004 releases. We were pleased to respond to this feedback and believe this set will build on the success of the previous releases.

The fact of the matter is the product you're looking for is always going to be cheaper, or there's going to be a better product in four months at the same price point. If you wait like that, you'll wait forever. You really have to make a decision that it's time to buy.

since last fall, I have tried again and again to work with FEMA on this rule so that 9/11 first responders and their families could start collecting the funds raised by the 9/11 Heroes Stamp. But at every step, FEMA - which does a spectacular job responding to disasters and emergencies throughout the country - refused to accept input or provide any feedback as to the content of the rule or when it would be published. I have enormous respect and admiration for what FEMA does in crises, which is why I'm so disappointed in this rule. Unfortunately, more than 45 months since the stamp was created, 38 months since the stamp went on sale, and more than six months since beginning work on the rule, what's been produced is, frankly, half-a_ ed bureaucratic bulls _t . New York's best and bravest deserve far, far better than this.

In open source, the rule is release early, release often. But that's often at odds with what enterprises want. If I have $10 million to invest in product, we do 10 $1 million projects and put it out there to see what works.

Let me say that there is no connection between the release and kidnapping of the U.S. reporter. The release was finalized after a review by the Iraqi-U.S. board. My daughter is home now and in good health after spending four months in detention. I'm so happy.

I call on the authorities to release him immediately or publicly air the case against him and give him the opportunity to defend himself.
