When you get to a game like this, it's who's playing, who's on a roll. The teams are close enough that either one could win the game. They beat us by six points the last time, and we had them beat. We let them out. Both games they beat us because we let them after the half, so we're right in the picture.

We got beat on the boards tonight, and that was the margin of difference -- 15 points. It looks worse than it really was. It was a pretty good game. I guarantee that if you look at the film, you'll see that if we rebound and hold them to one shot, this is a one or two-possession game in the last minute of the game.

We got a little pay back, as they beat us by seven points in our gym. We came out of the blocks well, something that we haven't been doing, and shot well early. We made our free throws down the stretch and played good defense all game.

We played good enough to beat anybody but Decatur today. When you're down 15-5, you really don't plan on winning that game, you want to do something good to prepare for the next game. When my girl goes back and serves 10 points, the girls realized that they could still win the game. But then we still shut down at the end.

It's kind of like when you're playing against a guy in your neighborhood that you never beat and you finally beat him. Your confidence gets sky high. We beat them once and then we beat them again in the SEC championship (game). We just like getting wins against those guys.

Buffalo won the game, and I give them credit. They've been through a lot, they've been struggling, and they had the whole quarterback situation to deal with this week. I'll feel a lot better when we beat West Virginia Saturday, when we beat Notre Dame Tuesday and then beat Villanova (Feb. 26) when they come here. You want to win every game. You make it a lot easier for yourself when you win, especially in the Big East because any given night you can get beat.

He might be one of the most skilled players to ever play the game. He could skate, he could beat you one-on-one, he could beat you with a pass, he could beat you with a shot. He was a complete, all-around player.

It definitely will be a little tone setter. If you can beat them and set a good tone, maybe in the back of their minds they'll get frustrated. But if they walk in and beat us, 5-1, pretty easily, I think they'll be pretty comfortable and confident. So for both teams it's an important game.

They wanted this one. This is a big game for us. They beat us 1-0 last time and got a goal late in the third period and we had another chance at them and we got it. Now, all we have to do is go beat Granite City. They beat us this season, and we still have one more shot at them, too.
