You can train the dog to do that ... crawl and go out to rescue someone. The dogs are very smart but not as obedient as in they are in the movie.

Most of the time, I find that dogs are in complete control of the house because they're confused about their role. Dogs instinctively follow a pack mentality. By training owners to use voice control and body language to establish authority, we teach them how to gain control so their dogs can become obedient, enjoyable family members.

The demand for a good trainer has certainly gone up in last couple of months. Earlier people used to keep pet dogs of good breed but now they want obedient dogs who understand them and follow orders.

We have sent 21 specialists in search, rescue and emergency medical attention of victims, as well as seven rescue dogs.

The goal was to help rescue 200 dogs, ... They're overjoyed that they were able to rescue 80, but clearly disappointed and dismayed at the bureaucracy, which prevented them from taking the full 200.

One of the reasons I started doing this was to help more dogs stay in their homes whereas a volunteer for a dog rescue I was always trying to find a new home for dogs.

That's the plot of the movie. The dogs' struggle for survival, without people, after they are stranded. Also, instead of 13 dogs being left, only eight get left behind in the movie.

Basically, I teach people how to train their dogs. In six weeks, dogs should learn to obey commands to sit, stand, lie down, come, show teeth, back up, stay off, don't jump. Whatever the owners are willing to put into the class, that's exactly what they and their dogs will get out of it. Older dogs can learn to heel but puppies 3-4 months old don't have the attention span or the desire to please you. When they're older, they can take a little more pressure to learn.

It's entertaining, ... I've learned that the dogs are not always as obedient as you think they would be. They do get distracted. It's all fun to watch.

All dogs are trainable if you have the time and put in the effort. It's sometimes the people you can't train. Ninety-eight percent of the things that dogs do wrong, it's the person, not the dog, who is at fault.

You can literally stand here some times and watch little bugs crawl through crawl in and crawl out.
