From my standpoint, there's not a whole lot different that he could have done. He's passionate. He cares about the players, he backs the players and never once bashed them to the media. I thought he handled things very well and took the pressure off the players. He's taken the fall now for a couple of months. If anything, he might have been too supportive of us.

We did not make any moves. There were a couple players out there who were offered (to us) but they were veteran players.

We're just going to do it weekly until I guess most of the players that want to go have gone. We're just going to go over there and take a couple of players every day, visit with them and just see how things are going.

He's going to go in there and compete. He has a couple of good players ahead of him and those guys are not going to lie down and give up their spots. It will present competition for him and the players in front of him.
